Barton Caplan
Barton Caplan is an audiobook narrator and a city walker. His practice is a direct result of navigating the urban landscape and finding the cinematic noir hidden in the textures of recovery and decay. Whether in the alleyways of Los Angeles or the brutalist shadows of the East Coast, he uses the camera to find clarity in the geometry and grit.
Edition and Provenance
Every Gutterstars print is a unique 1/1 physical artifact. The studio retains only one Artist Proof and one Exhibition Proof for archival purposes; neither is available for private sale. Once a work is collected, it is permanently retired from production to ensure its singularity.
Technical Integrity & Scale
Each work is realized as a 20×26 inch archival pigment print on museum-grade Canson Platine Fiber Rag, featuring an 18×24 inch image area and a signature one-inch white border. Produced for maximum tonal depth and longevity, every print is hand-signed and issued with a custom letterpress Certificate of Authenticity.
