Edition and Provenance

Each GutterStars print is a unique, one-of-one piece.Once collected, it is permanently retired from production. No prints, editions, or artist's proofs of that image will ever be produced. The image may appear in books, exhibition catalogs, or other documentary publications related to the artist's work.

The Print

Each work is produced as an archival pigment print on Canson Platine Fibre Rag, with a signature yellow frame and a two-inch white border. Printed to museum archival standards, every work is signed en verso (on the back) and accompanied by a custom, hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity.

Barton Caplan

Barton Caplan is a Los Angeles-based photographer focusing on the Industrial Noir aesthetic, documenting the geometry and textures of understated urban landscapes.

Acquisition confirmed

Thank you for acquiring a Gutterstars archival print. Your new acquisition is on the way. I will personally oversee the custom printing process and finalize your unique, signed letterpress Certificate of Authenticity before shipping it fully insured. This physical artifact is now officially retired. You own the only one.

How it works

I collaborate with a fine-art studio for printing, using museum-grade Canson Platine paper selected for its tonal depth and surface character. Before shipment, I prepare and sign a personalized letterpress Certificate of Authenticity and also sign and date the work en verso (on the back of the print). Each one-of-one work is packaged and shipped. Once acquired, the image is permanently retired to preserve its singularity. Please allow 4-6 weeks for preparation and delivery.
