Overview & Store Hosting

Gutterstars is operated by Barton Caplan. Our online storefront is hosted on Big Cartel, which provides the online e-commerce platform that allows us to showcase and sell our fine art products to you.

Intellectual Property & Copyright

All photographs, imagery, text, branding, and artwork displayed on this website are the sole intellectual property of Barton Caplan / Gutterstars and are protected under United States and international copyright laws. Purchase of a physical fine art print does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights. You may not copy, scan, reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any photograph or image purchased from Gutterstars without explicit written consent from the artist.

Orders & Pricing

All prices listed on Gutterstars are in US Dollars ($USD) and are subject to change. Applicable taxes and shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including suspected fraud, inventory errors, or pricing discrepancies. If your order is canceled after payment has been processed, a full refund will be issued immediately to your original payment method.

Custom Fulfillment & Shipping

Each fine art print and custom frame is built on demand through our custom framing partner, Framebridge. Estimated production time is typically 5 to 10 business days, with total delivery taking approximately 7 to 12 business days depending on transit location. Estimated delivery windows are not strict legal guarantees, as shipping carriers may experience unforeseen delays. You are responsible for providing an accurate and deliverable shipping address at checkout. Gutterstars is not liable for packages misdelivered or lost due to incorrect address information.

Returns, Refunds & Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our prints. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason (including scale, frame, or any other reason), you may return the item within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Items must be returned in their original condition.

Return shipping instructions will be provided upon contacting us. If your framed artwork arrives damaged during shipping, please notify us within 14 days of delivery with photos of the damaged packaging and product so we can immediately dispatch a replacement.

Limitation of Liability

Gutterstars shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our website or the purchase of our products. In all cases, our maximum liability is limited to the total purchase price paid for the item in question.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California and the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
